I'm excited and nervous all at the same time. Full of adrenilin from both. As I said before it's my first trip ever overseas not related to seeing family , my first proper trip of my own. Which is a pretty exciting concept to me. Yet a bit scary too at the same time.
ANd yet it still doesn't quite feel real. At least for me not until i'm on the plane, or really until I get to my destination.
I'm looking forward to some sun and warm weather, to peaches ,seeing a favourite band, to raiding some yarn shops ( foreign yarn shops get me very excited) and to other things i don't even know yet.
I'm not sure i will blog much while i'm away or at all. I'm taking my laptop and have decided to see how I feel when I get there, whether i have time or the inclination. or if I'll all save it up for when i get home.
in the meantime i'll be on intsagram recording my travels, ( i'm squidgyandwonky) if you like to see what I'm up to.

Eeeek! That's come around sooo quickly!! Have a super fabulous time Jess! I know it will be wonderful for you :) Pack plenty of Nicorettes and make sure you get the coated chewing gum ones because they last ages and taste much better! ;) Looking forward to following all the fun on instagram. You are a total SUPERSTAR! Thanks so much for my gorgeous elephant who arrived today. She brought such joy to my heart, and some tears to my eyes, what a lucky girl I am. I hope you don't mind but he has become a she, I have some issues regarding her previous name...a boy called Drew pushed me really hard in the shelter shed while we were playing Pussy In The Corner, in Grade 1. I got a really big splinter under my finger nail. Boy did that hurt. Anyway, my beautiful ele is Penelope!! So I hope that's ok. Sunday thought of the name. Hope you are having a ball over there Jess. Eat lots of candy and fries, have fun in the warmness, enjoy being with new friends, love the music, soak up the beautiful scenery...enjoy!
